I believe that a community fridge is beneficial to the residents. Not only does it reduces food waste, it provides residents with easy access to fresh groceries.
I love to paint and draw as a hobby. I thought that this opportunity would not only make me a part of meaningful ground-up initiative by Tampines Changkat Community Club, but also allowed me to experience various paintwork techniques.
I had a great time because everybody was so kind and talented. At the beginning, I was a little nervous because I had not painted for a long time and it was a paint technique that I was not familiar with. But after 15 minutes of adjusting to the painting flow, it was effortless and the experience was so therapeutic! It was definitely a complete new experience for me and I have learnt a lot from it. I am very glad to have this opportunity to be part of the team to paint a mural wall and to do something beautiful for my community.
