About the event

Walk with Us for Our Migrant Brothers

Every year, thousands of migrant workers leave their homes and families behind to help build Singapore. Their hard work keeps our city running, yet many face long hours, demanding jobs, and life away from the people they love.

At Big At Heart, we believe that even small acts of kindness can make someone feel seen, valued, and supported. That's why we're excited to once again partner with Trekkers@Heart for our 6th annual Charity Walk—a community event that brings people together to walk, give, and stand in solidarity with our migrant brothers.

This walk is about more than raising funds. It is an opportunity to connect with the migrant worker community, learn more about their lives, and show our appreciation for their contributions to Singapore.

All proceeds from the event will go directly towards providing groceries and snacks for migrant workers.

Our journey begins at Punggol Waterway Park, continues through the scenic trails of Coney Island, and ends at PPT Lodge 1A, where participants will join our migrant brothers for a grocery distribution, enjoy breakfast together, and take part in a guided tour of the dormitory.

Highlights

One of the highlights of this year's walk is the opportunity to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with our migrant brothers. As many of them are unable to be with their families during this special festival, participants are invited to tie Rakhis as a simple gesture of appreciation, friendship, and care.

Several residents of the dormitory will also be joining us for the walk, making it a meaningful occasion to build friendships and share the experience together.
