It was a lovely experience. Loved the active and cheerful vibrancy of the place. Great concept to get the spirit of the kampong living back. Especially after the COVID experiences from last year, it has become so important to foster community spirit. The simple gesture of giving oranges to small and medium businesses was so thoughtful. It reassured that all are in this together... supporting each other in happy and not so happy time. It’s also one place where seniors feel wanted and needed thus giving them a purpose in life. All in all, an enticing experience.

It’s been 8 years that I have seen the Chinese New Year celebration but this was the first time I got a chance to interact with the locals and understand the true meaning of the celebration. A simple gesture of distributing oranges has a very deep meaning. Sheng Yi Sin Long
